Margaret Biliter, or “Margie” as friends know her, is a registered nurse with over 42 years of experience. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Marshall University and her Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of Kentucky. Her entire adult life has been devoted to caring for others as well as educating them to live their healthiest life possible. Her background includes working in critical care units, being a Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist, and teaching students in various BSN programs. Most recently, she and her husband Danny, who is a pharmacist, have been the owners of two independent pharmacies.
Margie has made Richmond her home since 2000 and has raised two daughters here. She is a native Kentuckian with a large extended Irish family throughout the state. As the mother of two girls, she looks forward to working with Redeeming Hope to provide a safe haven for young women in Kentucky who have been sexually exploited and suffered trauma through no fault of their own. Her background in health care and business will provide a strong foundation to assist in making sure the residents’ needs are being met to the best of the agency’s abilities.
Margie is an active member of St. Mark Catholic Church in Richmond, has worked with The American Cancer Society and American Heart Association, and was a 4-H leader and Girl Scout Leader when her daughters were in school. She and her family love to travel, are active in their free time, and are avid cheerleaders for UK Sports.
